It's been a fantastic few days up here at Glenshee. Despite some mixed weather conditions, we've managed to get in lots of boarding and skiing- all the pupils are more confident than they've ever been in their chosen sport. We've had a super time relaxing in the evenings- we'll all miss the log fire!
Everyone has behaved excellently. Mr J and Miss R have had lots of compliments from staff and visitors at the centre about our pupils:)
We arrived at the slopes this morning to mist, a damp biting wind and very poor visibility! Undeterred, the skiers have ventured out for the morning, whilst the intrepid boarders have decided to do another full day.
Meanwhile, Jess and Chloe joined Miss R at basecamp, where we took a walk in the general direction of Braemar before returning to the Cafe for hot chocolate.
The skiers have returned to the centre for lunch and this afternoon they will choose from activities at the Centre of a slightly warmer nature! Photos coming soon....
Breakfast is over, we're just getting our gear into the van and then we're off! Everyone has woken up a little bit more since this photo was taken! The Belgian waffles at breakfast helped;)
Welcome to Cedars School of Excellence 'Home Blog'.
The home blog follows on from the extremely successful blogs that have been running in school over the past three years. We presently run a blog for each of the primary classes and two faculty blogs in the secondary department. These are ongoing and are a great way to keep parents, grandparents and friends updated with what is going on.
There are however, occasions and events which affect the whole school such as health fairs, sports championships, elections, whole school visits etc. These will be reported on the home blog.
Please visit the blogs and continue to give us encouraging feedback on all we are doing in Cedars School!
