Guess Who

An EXCELLENT ski trip!

Well- we made it! We're all back, with all our gloves, goggles, helmets, salopettes and a few more bruises!

The pupils have behaved impeccably and had a brilliant time- the teachers were pretty good too! We have really, really enjoyed ourselves- a big well done to everyone who came, and a big thank you to Mr Jewell for organising the trip! See you Monday ready to work hard!

Goodnight from Glenshee;)

All is quiet in the dorms. Most of us are packed and missing gloves have been located! We've had a relaxing evening playing monopoly, pool, watching Prince Caspian and drinking hot chocolate around the blazing log fire.

We (the teachers!) are ready fir a good night's sleep!

Bon nuit:)

Glenshee day 3 - afternoon update

We've split into two groups for archery and climbing this afternoon... Here's the first group of archers, playing the cutlery game- they must hit each colour to get all the cutlery they need for tea tonight! Leo will be eating his pizza and ice cream with two teaspoons and James with a table spoon!!

Here's the stag we killed earlier... (!!) :)

Snowy Glenshee day 2

We awoke to a White White world this morning- fresh blankets of snow covering everything, and more falling from laden skies... Good news for the slopes! Once we'd breakfasted, (did we mention that the chef here used to cook for the Queen Mother??!) and the snow ploughs had cleared the road, we took off in our groups for the morning. The experience was quite different from yesterday- more challenging as the wind and falling snow meant more excitement! After a quick packed lunch we hit the slopes again- and despite good night's sleep last night the children ( and teachers!) are ready fir showers and hot chocolate! This evening we are playing games in the sports barn, hoping to stop our muscles stiffening!

It's been an incredible day - we are so lucky to live so close to such a stunning place!!
