A fascinating day at the Royal Armouries




We've seen a firearms display showing how weapons progressed from the musket to the AK 47. It took 450years for rifles to fire as many rounds per minute as the Crossbow!


We've watched a two handed sword combat, demonstrated by two Tudor experts:

















We've experienced the sights and sounds of battle through a basinet (skull and visor)




We've seen over 8000 different weapons:















We've met Jack Ketch, Britains most brutal executioner, as he faced outcry at another bungled killing!








And we've tested our skills at the Crossbow Range:
