The Great Broader Curriculum Bake-Off!

Mrs Speirs is doing baking with us for the next six weeks. The pupils who have chosen this as their next BC topic will learn some of the basic skills for baking and will also be making a variety of Christmassy treats!

We are starting with delicious Christmas shortbread today.

We have greased our baking sheets...


Weighed and whisked the butter...













Weighed and sieved the flour




















We've rolled our mixture on a floured work top...



And used cookie cutters to make shaped biscuits...















Then after the Great BC WashUp- the biscuits came out of oven... YUM!!!
