Today we are holding a big Inservice training for our primary staff on implementing the New Zealand Maths strategy in our primary school.
The scheme is recognised as a world leader in developing numeracy and number skills and Mr Creighton and Mr Atkinson have just visited a primary school near Aberdeen that are enjoying great success in developing numeracy using this method.
Today was spent getting to grips with the method and planning for implementing this exciting development in Cedars School to increase numeracy across our primary school.
